This summer, camp takes a turn for the FANTASTIC! This summer, due to popular demand, P.A.P.A is launching, for the first time, 4 weeks of camp! On July 8th to 12th, July 22nd to 26th, August 5th to 9th and a special 4th camp taught by the wonderfully fantastic Moria Dunphy from July 29th to August 3rd! Children will learn co-operation and teamwork as they work together to build and star in a grand theater performance in only 5 days! In addition to that, children will learn such theatrical talents as improv, art, musical theater, and are guaranteed a fantastic time. And with a minimum of 3 highly experienced councilors every week, you can be sure your kids will leave each day with a smile on their face and a song in their heart.

The camp runs from 9am to 3:30 pm every day.

On the first day of camp, we’ll ask you to fill out a registration form, and a waiver.

Campers will be taking a fully supervised, half hour break ever day in the local park! (Weather permitting of course.)

We are entirely Wheelchair Accessible.

Registration is $226 a child.
Register before April 30th and the class is HST free, only $200.

That chill in the air? It’s Improv!

Ladies and Gentlemen, P.A.P.A patrons all, last season was such a success that we’re doing it again! You can’t get too much of a good thing!

Starting just after the Christmas break, the Kid’s Beginner Improv Class! Your child will learn to open up and trust their fellow improvisors through a series of very fun and rewarding games that encourage listening, cooperation, and give a taste of the thrill that is getting up on stage. Beginning January 6th, register now! Ages 9 to 12, 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays at the P.A.P.A Building downtown! Registration is $137 a child for 10 weeks, HST included, so bring ‘em down! Discounts are avaliable for late entries!

Following immediately after the Kid’s Improv Class is the Teen Improv Class. Perfect to fill up that gap between Afternoon and Evening on that lazy Sunday before school, the Teen Class offers a level above what’s offered in the Beginner Class. You’ll start getting into the nitty gritty of this great medium with games that teach and challenge a budding improvisor to accept offers, move a scene forward, and support their fellow improvisors. Laughs are guaranteed! And like the Kid’s Class, registration is open wide. Ages 13 to 17, 5:00pm to 6:30pm on Sundays at the P.A.P.A Building downtown! Registration is $205 a head, HST included. Discounts are available for late entries

For what seems like forever, we’ve had a drop in improv class on Tuesdays here at P.A.P.A. As a matter of fact, it’s how this whole shebangle began. But all good things must come to an end, so it’s time to upgrade to the newly formed Sunday Drop-In Master Class! Our new Master Class provides all the fun and knowledge our lovely patrons have come to expect from our Tuesday Drop-In, now in the same classic location that you remember. If you come to play, it’s $15 like it always has been, but if you just want to watch, not quite ready to get up and perform yet, it’s only $5 to sit and laugh and if you want to come up during the night, you’ll be encouraged and supported by your fellow improvisors who want nothing more than to see you succeed. We’re still at the P.A.P.A Building Downtown, so come and play! Class runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

“But P.A.P.A!” I hear you exclaim emphatically to your Computer/iPhone/Android Device, “What will we do to scratch that improv itch that creeps up on us every Tuesday between 7:00pm and 8:30pm?” Well, the truth is, we’re not quite sure either. But we’re working on it! All good things come in time my lovelies. So for now, Tuesday Classes are TBA!

P.A.P.A. offers a summer performing arts camp for boys and girls ages 6 through 13. We offer a wide range of non-competitive fine and performing arts activities in a fun, friendly, AIR CONDITIONED setting. Our week long Summer Camps offer a wide range of classes including: GLEE-CLUB (featuring rock, pop, country, classical & Broadway music), SKETCH COMEDY, IMPROV COMEDY, TWO & THREE-DIMENSIONAL VISUAL ARTS and more.

Since last year’s camp was such a resounding success, P.AP.A. has begun registration for MARCH BREAK CAMP-2K12! It’s coming fast and SPACE IS LIMITED! Only 20 students MAX!
Our campers come home with smiles and they can’t WAIT to return each day.
Camp runs March 12 – 16, from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Instructors: Paul O’Sullivan and Linda Kash PLUS a minimum of 2 experienced student assistants.
Cost is $226.00 including HST.
Campers should bring a lunch, snacks, comfortable clothing and a desire to play!
